Think about the fact that if you bought one less bauble for that Christmas tree this year, and went to wallofhands.com.au, you could donate the money to a gift of literacy to indigenous children in remote areas, 4 out of 5 of whom cannot read at an acceptable level.
Michael Kennedy donated his time, energy and talent, including driving all the way to Tennant Creek (500km north of Alice Springs) to photograph children and elders in these communities. Kennedy saw first hand, that in this lucky country, there are children who lack the basic resources for gaining an education. Literacy brings hope and a brighter outlook for the future of these children.
These people have their hands up to show support for the Wall of Hands. Hands up how cares...
